Important Notes to ALL AUTHORS/PRESENTERS (including Symposium Keynote & Invited Speakers):

  • All authors who are presenting at the conference will have to complete the registration and payment latest by 31 March 2017, in order for their presentation to be scheduled in the conference programme.
  • Each registration is meant for ONE (01) participant to attend the conference only. Co-author(s) who are also attending the conference will need to register separately.
  • Each registration entitles the registered participant  to present up to TWO (02) Abstracts/Presentations.
  • Fees listed are in Singapore dollars (SGD 1 ~ USD 0.70)

The conference banquet is a separate, ticketed event from the main conference. Limited number of tickets are available for purchase and acceptance confirmation is subject to payment being received and seats being available at the time of booking/payment.

Invited Speakers, Symposia Chairs/Co-Chairs are issued one (01) complimentary banquet ticket per person. You will be asked to confirm your attendance at the time of registration.

Registration Category

MRS-S MEMBER – applicable to members of the Materials Research Society – Singapore.
If you have forgotten your membership ID, please email icmat2017@inmeetcms.com with your name and organization to retrieve your ID.

STUDENT – Applicable to full-time students from any university (local & overseas). Proof of student status will be required at the time of registration.
Proof of student status can take the form of an official letter from the university or a student card, in English. At the very least, it should provide the following information:

  • Student name
  • Student matriculation number (student ID with photograph)
  • Name of university/ institution
  • Expiration/Expected graduation date (This must be AFTER the conference period)

 

GRAND PREMIER & PREMIER SPONSORS – Staff and students from NTU & NUS will be asked to enter a valid email address issued by their university for verification at the point of registration, in order to enjoy the special registration rates

Registration Entitlements

Fee listed above is for one (01) participant & includes:

  • Two (02) years of MRS-S membership fees
  • Admission to all conference sessions
  • Daily Coffee/Tea breaks and lunch
  • One (01) copy of the conference programme book
  • Registration of a maximum of two (02) abstracts/presentations

Payment Onsite (BY CASH ONLY and meant for non-presenting participants)

  • Payment is to be made in Singapore dollars and in EXACT AMOUNT.
  • Foreign currencies will NOT be accepted.

NOTE:
Authors who have submitted abstract(s), please login with the SAME account you had used earlier to submit your abstract. Do NOT create a new account as we will be tagging your registration to your abstract(s).
Invoice will be issued automatically via the online system when you register. The e-invoice, generated via the online system, is the official invoice.
You will be able to print a copy of the e-receipt from your user account, after payment is received.

Terms and Conditions
  1. Registration fees must be paid in Singapore Dollars (SGD) only.
  2. Fee listed above does NOT include the prevailing 7% Goods & Services Tax (GST).  This will be added to the fee at time of payment
  3. Presenting authors need to complete their conference registration and pay fees (if applicable) by 31 March 2017.  Late payment may result in the abstract not being included in the conference program and any other publications printed for distribution at the conference.
  4. Authors/presenters can make up to a maximum of two (02) abstracts/presentations per registration.
  5. Early Bird Rate applies for fees received on or before 31 March 2017.
  6. Standard Rate applies for fees received between 1 April to 9 June 2017. This rate is NOT applicable to presenting authors who must register and pay fees by 31 March 2017.
  7. Onsite Rate is applicable for fees paid after 9 June 2017 and is meant for non-presenting participants only.
  8. Participants with outstanding registration fees need to either complete the payment online or onsite before they can be granted admission to the conference.
  9. For walk-in registration onsite, the conference kits are available while stocks last.
  10. For “Additional Optional Purchases” such as the banquet ticket, purchase confirmation is subject to full payment being received and only while stocks last.

 

 

Cancellation/Withdrawal Policy
  1. A 70% refund will be made for cancellations received on or before 1 May 2017.
  2. A separate refund administrative fee of S$80 will be imposed for each refund.
  3. Cancellations are to be made via email to the secretariat before the above deadline.
  4. There will be no refund for cancellation/withdrawal received after 1 May 2017.
  5. There will be no refund for registrants who paid but did not attend the conference in person.  The organizers will also not be mailing out conference publications or materials to such individuals.
